Obituary of Dolores L. Tierney

Dolores L. Tierney, of Danbury, wife of the late Robert H. Tierney, died peacefully at Danbury Hospital on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.  She was born in Danbury on January 23, 1931, daughter of the late Frank and Louise Eriquez. 

Dolores worked in various positions at Danbury Hospital. 

She enjoyed many hours of playing Mahjong and Bingo with friends.

She will be sadly missed by her children, David Tierney and his wife, Dotsy, and Susan Kelley and her husband, Stephen; her grandchildren, Tonya Collier, Stephen Kelley and his wife, Besa, Robin Conradi and her husband, Saar, and Lauren Ennis and her husband, Rob; and five great  grandchildren.  

Dolores was predeceased by her 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

Funeral services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury on Thursday, November 2nd at 11:00am. The family will receive friends on Thursday morning between 10:00 – 11:00am.  Burial in St. Peter Cemetery will follow.
