Obituary of Carol Ann Bray

Carol A. (Violano) Bray, 76, of Brookfield, beloved wife of Alan Bray, Sr., died peacefully at Danbury Hospital on Tuesday, June 13th.  She was born in Stamford, daughter of the late John and Sarah (Graziano) Violano.  She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church, Brookfield.    

Carol worked as office manager, alongside her husband, for Bray’s Electric & Construction in Stamford and Brookfield. She was a graduate of Stamford High School, class of 1964. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  Her happiest moments were spent with her family.  She loved to cook, especially her chicken cutlets and Italian style meatballs. Carol loved going to car shows with her husband and friends.

In addition to her cherished husband of  57  years, Alan, she will be missed by her three children, Alan Bray Jr. and his wife, Christine, David Bray and his wife, Michele, and Jennifer O’Brien; her seven grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Katelyn, Amanda, Brendan, Kylie and Brayden.  She is also survived by her brother, John Violano and his wife, Maureen. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday June 21st at 10:30am at St. Joseph Church in Brookfield. 

Memorial Contributions in Carol’s memory may be made to St. Joseph Church, Brookfield.
