Loretta A. Sampson, 80, of Danbury, died peacefully at Danbury Hospital on May 1, 2022. She was born in Clio, South Carolina on October 16, 1941, daughter of the late James Gillespi and Lucile Patterson.
Loretta worked as a housekeeper for many years…. and also worked at Mediplex in Danbury as a housekeeper many years. She loved to read and enjoyed crossword puzzles.
She will be sadly missed by her three children, Mary Dardis, David, and William Sampson; and her grandchildren Jason Patterson, Henry Love.
She was predeceased by her son, Leroy Patterson.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, May 21st at 11:00am at Elmwood Cemetery in Bethel.
