Please share a memory of Anne to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Anne Carolan Cioffi, age 55, of Brookfield, passed away peacefully on April 22nd, 2022 at Danbury Hospital, following a long illness. She was born on June 3rd, 1966 in Trenton, NJ, the beloved daughter of the late Hugh and Carol Carolan.

Anne was predeceased by her beloved parents and her brother Hugh Carolan. Anne leaves her devoted husband of 27 years Michael Cioffi, and her adored children Michael and Jennifer. She is also survived by her stepmother Alice Carolan, sister-in-law Angela Stephen (Mike), her sister Moira (Kevin) Brooks, her brother Matthew Carolan, her brothers-in-law John Cioffi, Francis (Lisa) Cioffi, Steven (Dawn) Cioffi, Mark Cioffi, plus many nieces and nephews.

Anne grew up in New Jersey before her family moved to Connecticut in 1980. She has long been a lover of New Jersey, especially Long Beach Island. She has gone there almost every summer since she was born.

Anne was a graduate of Brookfield High School, Class of 1984. She continued her education and graduated from Western Connecticut State University, with a degree in Accounting and Business. She worked for Ethan Allen Inn in Danbury as an Accounting Clerk, then worked as an Administrative Assistant to the general manager. She also managed the accounts for her husband in his Floor Covering and Construction business.

She resided in Brookfield, CT with her loving family. Anne’s greatest joy in life was her family and her greatest job was being a mother. She kept herself busy with her large family, actively volunteering at her children’s schools, and attending all school and sporting activities. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church in Brookfield. She had a passion for taking pictures and scrapbooking. She loved capturing all of the happy moments and milestones in life.

Anne will be desperately missed by family and friends. She was the most loving mother and wife a family could ask for. When she loved, she loved with her whole heart. Once you got to know Anne, you would know that nothing was more important than being a great mom to her children. She was one of a kind and will be missed dearly.

The family would like to thank the oncology staff at Yale New Haven Hospital and at Danbury Hospital for their unwavering compassion and support.

Private services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the Smilow Cancer Center Office of Development P.O. Box 1849 New Haven, CT 06508-1849.
