Obituary of Jeffrey Emil Ciurek

Jeffrey E. Ciurek, 66, died on March 29, 2022 at Danbury Hospital.  He was born in Stamford, CT on April 11, 1955 and was a resident of Redding, CT for over 30 years.  Preceding Jeff in death were his father Emil and mother Stefania (Bukowska) Ciurek.  He is survived by his brother Peter Ciurek of Stamford, CT.  He worked for decades as a talented finish carpenter before switching careers midlife to become a certified motorcycle mechanic.  During his lifetime, Jeff enjoyed a wide range of hobbies including motorcycling, fly fishing, photography, playing guitar, building and flying of radio controlled model airplanes, competitive target shooting, and attending car racing events.  Those wishing to honor Jeff’s memory can make a contribution in his name to the American Cancer Society or to the food bank or animal shelter of your choice.
