Darlene (Gotthardt) Ceresna, 64, of New Fairfield, cherished wife of Brian Ceresna, died peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, October 21st.  She was born in New Milford on October 5, 1957.  She was a beloved daughter of William and Winifred (Lally) Gotthardt Jr., of Danbury.  She was a graduate of Danbury High School, class of 1975.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt with family as the center of her life.  Her happiest moments were spent with her children and grandchildren, and traveling with her husband.  Darlene supported her children in all of their endeavors.  She was her son Jake’s number one fan, watching him play in Pop Warner, high school, college, and eventually professional football.

In addition to her parents, William and Winifred, and her husband of 36 years, Brian, she will be missed by her children, Daniel and his wife, Kimberlie, Dayna, and Jake; her four grandchildren, Carter, Caiden, Knox, and Ember; her brothers, William Gotthardt III, and Thomas Gotthardt Sr., and his wife, Christine; and her sister, Donna Kruszynski. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved in-laws and extended family. She was predeceased by her brother John Gotthardt Sr.
