Obituary of Patrick A. Coletti
Brookfield - Mr. Patrick A. Coletti, age 81, of Brookfield, died Sunday May 13, 2018 at Danbury Hospital. He was the loving husband of Dymphna "Dinny" (Shanahan) Coletti.
Mr. Coletti was born August 31, 1936 in Port Chester, New York son of the late Charles and Frances (Accurso) Coletti. He was retired after working for 22 years as a Police Officer in Greenwich and also retired as a Police Dispatcher for the Town of Brookfield. He was a communicant and former member of the Mens Club of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Brookfield and a former member of the Danbury Mens Club. He enjoyed golf, tennis and sports and was a member of the Candlewood Valley Golf Club. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Dinny, Mr. Coletti is survived by his daughter: Ann Coletti of New Milford, his son: David Coletti and his wife Krista of Watertown, his brothers: Joseph Coletti and his wife Mary Jo of Brookfield and Dr. Charles Coletti and his wife Linda of Port Chester, New York, his sisters in law: Patricia Murray of Kildare, Ireland and Miriam Shanahan of Dublin, Ireland, his five grandchildren: Brooke, Caitlyn and Luke Coletti and Zac and Ben Agnor and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday May 18, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Brookfield. Family and friends are asked to please meet directly at the church. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery in Danbury. Mr. Coletti's family will receive family and friends at the St. Joseph Church, 163 Whisconier Rd, Brookfield on Thursday May 17, 2018 from 5 to 8 p.m.
