Charlie was in the first group of kids that I played with on Lewis Pl. around 4-5 years old. Our backyards touched and we strung a long fishing wire and 2 paper cups and made our own telephone line between the 2 houses. We learned to ride a bike at the same time and we were always playing baseball, football or basketball on Lewis or at Tompkins park. Fun days.
Lost contact as adults, I'm happy to see that he lived a nice life surrounded with love.

I am very sorry for your loss. Our son is on the 4th grade Hoops Express team. Coach Charlie taught our boys so much more than basketball. A great coach and a great man. He will be missed.

I was totally shocked to hear of Charlie's passing. Although we didn't get to see Charlie often, we always enjoyed our visits with him and family when in the area or when he came to Texas for a visit. He always had a story to tell. Our prayers and thoughts go out to Val, Kyle, Colleen, and Sharon. Will always remember the good times.

Sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. He and I hit it off very nicely, when we met, and remained friends from afar, for many years, as part of the family. RIP, Charlie.

I am so sorry for your family's loss. I hope you can find comfort in the promise found at John 5:28, 29: "The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." Soon we will see our loved ones again! Until this promise is fulfilled, please be assured of God's love for you and of his desire to comfort you in distressing times. ( 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4)
