Obituary of Irene Giglia

Irene Giglia, 87, loving wife to the late Benjamin Giglia, died Tuesday, August 30^th at Danbury Hospital. Irene was born on January 11, 1924 in Bay Shore Long Island, NY. She was the daughter to the late John and Ida (Housin) Massie.

Irene devoted her life to her family. She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Patricia Schmierer and her husband Jeffrey of Brookfield and Jeanne Bleck and her husband Christopher of Sudbury, MA. Along with her daughters, Irene is survived by four grandchildren, Jacqueline, Christopher and Jennifer Bleck, and Marissa Nadeau; four grandchildren, Laura and Carolyn Nadeau and Jordana and Rachel Schmierer; son-in-law, Harold Nadeau and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12 PM on Saturday, September 3^rd at Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on the day of the funeral from 11 to 12 at the funeral home.
