Obituary of Cheryl Lee Wall
Cheryl (Lang) Wall, 64, of Brookfield, cherished wife of Anthony "Tom" Wall, died peacefully at Danbury Hospital, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, March 9th. She was born in Stamford on July 15, 1952, daughter of the late John and Florence (Martel) Bouchard. She was a graduate of Danbury High School and Valhalla School of Nursing. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church, Brookfield.
Cheryl enjoyed her career in nursing, acting as the school nurse for St. Joseph School in Brookfield for many years. She had also worked for Pope John Paul II Center, Pediatric Associates, and most recently for Harborside Glen Hill.
She was a talented needle worker, crocheting many Afghans and blankets for her family. She loved spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband of 21 years, Tom, she will be sadly missed by her two sons, Steven Lang and his wife, Alyson of Ridgefield, and Joseph Lang and his wife, Teresa of Danbury; her daughter, Tara Arms and her husband, Jesse of Shelton; her son Tom Foley and his wife Joy, her grandchildren, Leah and Emily Lang, Thomas and Teresa Arms and Ashley and Danielle Foley. She is also survived by her sisters, Paulette Bouchard and her husband, Jack, Lisa Dunn and her husband, Steven; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 17th at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church, Brookfield. Cremation will take place at the direction of the family.
The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Thursday between the hours of 4:00 and 7:00pm.
