Obituary of Robert Taylor Jennings

Robert Taylor Jennings Sr. August 20, 1940 - December 15, 2007 Robert Taylor Jennings, Sr., age 67, of New Milford, died on December 15, 2007 at Danbury Hospital. He was the devoted husband of Patricia (Dascano) Jennings. He was born in Danbury on August 20, 1940, a son of Harriet (Taylor) Jennings of Brookfield and the late Howard C. Jennings. He was a printer by trade and was the Sole Proprietor of RTJ Printing in Danbury for over 20 years. Mr. Jennings was a parishioner of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Brookfield and served as a Eucharistic Minister, as a Warden, and he was a member of the Men's Prayer Breakfast group. He served on the Vestry at St. Paul's, St. John's and St. Thomas Churches. He was one who believed in reaching out to others and became a Stephen Minister and a Stephen Leader. He was Past Master Mason, St. Peters Lodge #21 A.F. and A.M. and was actively involved in Habitat for Humanity. Mr. Jennings was also VP of NEARA. In addition to his wife Patricia of 47 years, and his mother, he is survived by 3 children: Susan Murphy and her husband, William and their children William and Ryan of Norwalk; Robert T. Jennings, Jr. and his children David and Megan of Falls Church, VA; and Elizabeth Harris and her husband, Brion and their children Addison, Jennings and Scarlett of Annapolis, MD ; a brother: Donald Jennings and his wife Marian of New Milford; his sisters and brothers in-law: Christian & Barbara Dascano, Shirley & Brendan Sniffin, Angie& Robert Walker, Frank & Karen Dascano, Harriet Cevera, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Brookfield. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 from 4:00 - 8:00 at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury.
