Obituary of Florence F. Heine

Florence F. Heine February 03, 1922 - June 29, 2009 Florence F. Heine, age 87, wife of the late John Heine, died at Hancock Hall in Danbury on Monday, June 29th. She was born in New York City on February 3, 1922, daughter of the late George and Sadell (Oakley) Doerr. Florence made her home in Carmel, NY for more than 30 years prior to making her home in Danbury. She was a parishioner of St. Lawrence O'Toole in Brewster. She devoted her life to her home and her family. She loved cards, reading, TV movies, sewing and traveling. She will be sadly missed by her two sons, John Heine and his wife, Margaret of Danbury, Neil Heine of Fishkill, NY; her daughter, Laura Deckel of Carmel, NY; her stepson, Walter O'Neill and his wife, Lynn of Montclair, NJ; her stepdaughter, Noreen Ward and her husband, Lloyd of Sugar Loaf, NY; as well as eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Roy Heine; and her former husband, Walter O'Neill. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 3rd at 9:00am at St. Joseph Church in Danbury. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Thursday between the hours of 3:00 and 5:00pm.
