Obituary of Phyllis Carey Hall

Phyllis Carey Hall September 25, 1920 - July 25, 2006 Phyllis Carey Hall, 85, of Brookside Trail, New Milford, wife of the late Franklin R. Hall, died at Danbury Hospital on Tuesday, July 25th. She was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, on September 25, 1920, daughter of the late William O. and Agnes (Britt) Carey. Phyllis was a parishioner of St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church, Brookfield. She was a longtime resident and member of the Candlewood Lake Club in New Milford. She and her family were also members of the Sleepy Hollow Country Club in Scarborough, NY. She loved to play golf, bridge, and do needlework. Phyllis and her husband, who worked for Exxon, lived an international life, enjoying residence in India, Malaysia, Brazil, and Uruguay. She will be sadly missed by her son, Carey Hall and his wife, Victoria of Bedford, NY.; her daughter, Anne Brodginski and her husband Greg of Ridgefield; as well as her three beloved grandchildren, Joseph Payne, Meredith Valasek and her husband, Jason, and Frederick C. Hall. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 28th at 11:00am at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church in Brookfield. There are no calling hours. The Brookfield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
