Obituary of Nancy Ann Grandieri

Nancy Ann Grandieri August 20, 1928 - July 21, 2006 Nancy Ann (Senior) Grandieri, 77, of Heritage Village, Southbury, formerly of New Fairfield, devoted wife of Julius V. Grandieri, died at Bethel Health Care Center on Friday, July 21st. She was born in Danbury on August 20, 1928, daughter of the late John H. and Laura (Frede) Senior. Mrs. Grandieri and her husband owned Grand Manufacturing in Danbury for over forty years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed sewing, and knitting. In addition to her husband of 57 years, Julius, she will be sadly missed by her four children, Joseph Grandieri and his wife, Patricia of Southbury, Mary Ann Foncello and her husband, Martin of Brookfield, Diane Pflomm and her husband, Brian of New Milford, and Robert Grandieri and his wife, Robin of Waterford; her nine beloved grandchildren, Laura Grandieri and her husband Chris, Joseph, David, and Michael Grandieri, Martin Foncello III, Jason and Lisa Pflomm, Bryan and Kevin Grandieri. She is also survived by her brother, John Senior and his wife, Thea of Danbury, and well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 18 Clapboard Ridge Road, Danbury, on Tuesday, July 25th at 10:00am. Burial in St. Peter Cemetery will follow. The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Monday, July 24th between the hours of 5 and 8pm.
