Robert Frances Falls, 88, of Danbury died April 14th at his home with his family around him. Robert was born March 12th 1923 in Kansas City, MO to Martin F. and Grace (Crawford) Falls.
Robert served in the Navy on the USS Bowers during World War II. He received the Connecticut Veteran's Wartime Service Medal. Robert was an avid reader and loved motorcycles. He also loved to fly experimental airplanes. Robert was a member of the American Legion Post 60.
Robert is survived by his wife Doris; 2 sons, Bruce Falls and his wife Elizabeth of Torrington and Walter "Rick" Falls and his wife Lynette of Danbury; 1 daughter Roberta (Falls) Cutler and her husband Al of Danbury; 5 brothers, Frank Falls of Bethel, Donald Falls of Redding, Richard Falls of Danbury, Clifford Falls of Bethel and Arthur Falls of Brookfield; 2 sisters, Betty Hill of Danbury and Mary Brown of Bethel; 3 grandchildren, Amy Hill, Travis Falls and Susan Cutler; 1 great grandchild, Bode K. Falls. Robert is predeceased by his brother William Falls. Funeral Information
Services will be held on Monday, April 18th at 11 A.M. at Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 17th from 2 to 5 P.M. also at Cornell Memorial Home.
