Obituary of Michael A. Cuoco

Michael A. Cuoco November 16, 1922 - January 26, 2010 Michael A. Cuoco, 87, formerly of Norwalk, and the Cascades in Bethel, beloved husband of the late Dora (Sogliuzzo) Cuoco, died at Bethel Health Care Center on Tuesday, January 26th. He was born in New York, NY on November 16, 1922, son of the late Anthony and Rose (Suozzi) Cuoco. Mr. Cuoco was a Veteran of World War II, serving with the United States Army. He was a payroll administrator for the New York Transit Authority. He was a long time parishioner of St. Matthew Church, was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and the Norwalk Senior Center. He loved playing the piano, listening to music, dancing, and spending time with his family. Upon making his home in Danbury, he and his wife were parishioners of St. Elizabeth Seton in Ridgefield and were members of the Primetimers group. He loved playing the piano, listening to music, dancing, and spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed by his four children, Rosann LaHommedieu of Bethel, Michael Cuoco of Colorado, Diane Disher of Danbury, and Carol Ann Cuoco of Shelton; his five grandchildren, Jeanine Molnar, Jessica LaHommedieu, Dan Disher, Jonathan Cuoco, and Lauren Disher; and his great granddaughter, Cadence. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 30th at 10:30am at St. Matthew Church in Norwalk. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Norwalk. The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Friday evening between the hours of 3:00 - 5:00 and 7:00 - 9:00pm.
