Anthony D. Corona Jr. October 14, 1937 - July 27, 2009 Anthony Dominic Corona Jr. Anthony Dominic Corona Jr. 71, of Benson Dr. Danbury, died Monday, July 27,2009 at home surrounded by his loving family Anthony was born October 14, 1937 in Danbury, CT. Husband of Shirley R. (Pasqarella) Corona and son of the late Anthony and Concetta (Pannozzo) Corona. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them at home and in Florida, Tony was a very generous man, supportive to many local charities including, Ability Beyond Disability. In addition to his loving wife of 52 years, he is survived by two sons, Gary A. Corona and wife Christine of Brookfield and Anthony Corona III and wife Cristina of Danbury; 3 grandchildren; Amanda, Sophia and Charles Corona; 2 brothers, John Corona of Bethel, Ronald Corona and wife Jennifer of Bethel, daughter in law, Janice Edmond, as well as several Nieces and Nephews He was predeceased by his son, Donald Corona, and two sisters Millie Corona and Mary Tomaino. Funeral Information A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 8:45am at St. Josephs Church Danbury, CT. with entombment at St. Peter's Cemetery Mausoleum to follow. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 31, 2009 between the hours of 5:00pm and 8:00pm at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St. Danbury, CT. "One day at a time help me believe in what I could be and all that I am. Show me the stairway I have to climb Lord, for my sake teach me to take one day at a time."
