Obituary of David Allen Carpenter

David Allen Carpenter August 04, 1966 - July 19, 2007 David Allen Carpenter, 40, of Woodview Drive, Brookfield, cherished son of John L. and Jean (Thorne) Carpenter of Brookfield, died on Thursday, July 19th at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Danbury on August 4, 1966 and was a lifelong resident of Brookfield. David worked at Stop and Shop. He attended Walnut Hill and First Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed bird watching, gardening, and traveling. In addition to his parents, John and Jean, he will be sadly missed by his brother, John Carpenter, Jr of Brookfield; his sister, Carol Perot and her husband Jonathan of Navarre, Florida; and his nephew, Gary Carpenter, Jr. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle, Paul and Grace Walter of Georgia; as well as several other relatives. He was predeceased by his brother, Gary Carpenter, Sr. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Tuesday, July 24th at 10:00am. Burial in Wooster Cemetery will follow. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday morning between the hours of 9:00 and 10:00am.
