Obituary of Sylvia K. Carbone

Sylvia K. Carbone July 03, 1947 - March 10, 2008 Sylvia K. "Polli" Carbone, age 60, of Mill Plain Road, Danbury, died peacefully at Danbury Hospital on Monday, March 10th. She was born in Mount Kisco, NY on July 3, 1947, daughter of Norma (Pretty) Greene of Ridgefield, and the late Harold Greene. She was a graduate of Ridgefield High School. Sylvia worked as a project manager for MCI World Comm Telecommunications. She also worked for many years at the Carriage House Café in New Fairfield. She enjoyed EBay, shopping, and her cats, "Emily" and "Floyd". She was also actively involved with the Pulmonary Rehab Program at Danbury Hospital. She cherished spending time with Sierra and Stewie. In addition to her mother, Norma of Ridgefield, she will be sadly missed by her son, Dominick G. "Nick" Carbone and his wife, Margaret of Danbury; her daughter, Jodie N. Carbone of Danbury; her brother, Michael Greene and his wife, Denise of Danbury; her three sisters, Judith N. Baiad and her husband, Ronald, Marcia N. Sferlazza and her husband, Jack of Danbury, Frances S. Robinson and her husband, Dave of Clinton, OH; as well as several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and her many friends. Funeral Information A Memorial Service will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Thursday, March 13th at 8:00pm. The family will receive friends between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00pm on Thursday evening.
