Obituary of Dwight J. Worell

Dwight J. Worell December 31, 1949 - March 18, 2007 Dwight J. Worrell, 55, of Frontage Road, Newtown, devoted husband of Ivette O. (McRae) Worrell, died at Danbury Hospital on Sunday, March 18th. He was born in Boykins, Virginia on December 31, 1949, son of Willa (Crocker) Fowler of Lourinburg, NC. and the late George Worrell. Dwight was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving with the United States Marine Corp. He worked as an Information System Manager for Unilever in Trumbull where he was employed for 30 years. He and his wife owned and operated Fashions by Trevelle in Newtown, specializing in bridal and formal wear. He was a talented artist and graphic designer who created historical images of Newtown and surrounding areas. In addition to his mother and cherished wife, Ivette, he is survived by his two sons, Dwight J. Worrell, Jr., and Dwayne D. Worrell, both of Orlando, FL; and his daughter, Jeanelle N. Jones of Washington DC. He is also survived by his brother, David P. Worrell of Clinton, NC; his sister, Sandra A. Worrell of Bridgeport; his stepfather, William J. Fowler; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Monday, March 26th at 11:00am. Burial in Wooster Cemetery will follow.
