Obituary of Josephine D. Breaux

Josephine Breaux May 24, 1912 - February 07, 2010 Josephine D. Breaux Josephine (Davis) Breaux, age 97, of Ridgefield, wife of the late Reynold Breaux, died peacefully Sunday, February 7th. She was the oldest of seven children, born in Bridgeport on May 24, 1912, daughter of the late Peter T. and Marion (Montalbano Manualla) Davis. Mrs. Breaux worked as a supervisor for General Electric for 40 years. During WWII, her job helped support the war effort at home. She was a long- time parishioner of St. Jude's Catholic Church in Monroe. She was a devoted wife, sister, aunt and friend. All who knew and loved her will remember her loving, gentle nature, and generosity. She loved to cook for and entertain her family. She is survived by her brother, Peter T. Davis Jr. of Punta Gorda, Florida; and her sister, Pauline Rich of Birmingham, Alabama; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her three sisters, Carol Ronca, Marion Pascucci, Florence Toscanco and brother, Tyrus Davis. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 15th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church in Danbury. Burial will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, Bridgeport. The family will receive friends at St. Gregory the Great Church on July 15th at 9:30 am.
