Obituary of Grace T. Welsh
Grace T. Welsh
November 03, 1919 - March 28, 2006
Grace T. (Doyle) Welsh, 86 passed away on March 28th surrounded by her family. Her naturally inquisitive personality led her to seek an education at Hunter College in New York City. She used that education and her warm, generous personality as a teacher in the New York School System, and a tutor to both her children and grandchildren.
Grace Welsh was a woman blessed with many gifts but her greatest treasures were the joy she found in her family and her church. Her steadfast devotion to attending the Congregational Church of New Fairfield and the joy she derived from Bible Study Fellowship serve as a lasting inspiration to the lives of the many whom she touched. Her personal strength and commitment to others, above herself, will always remind her family of the power of positive thought and prayer.
She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her son Richard R. Welsh and wife, Diane of New Fairfield; her daughter, Nancy E. Welsh of New Fairfield, and her five grandchildren Richard J. (and wife)Melanie L., Paul B., Charles E., Chad L. Welsh, and John R. Pilla. She is also survived by her brother Ralph Doyle of California; several nieces; and her son-in-law, Joseph Pilla of New Fairfield.
Grace's family takes solace in the knowledge that her passing reunites her with her beloved daughter, Dorothy Pilla and her late husband Jack Welsh. Funeral Information
