Obituary of Catherine Braun

Catherine Braun September 17, 1916 - January 10, 2009 Catherine (Mattei) Braun, 92, of Auburn Street, Danbury, wife of the late Charles A. Braun, died at Bethel Health Care Center on Saturday, January 10th. She was born in Danbury on September 17, 1916, daughter of the late Frank and Letica (Simoni) Mattei. Mrs. Braun worked as a line inspector for Davis & Geck Pharmeceutical. She was a parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Church. Mrs. Braun is survived by her brother, Anthony V. Mattei of Danbury; her nephew, Sgt. Al Mattei of the Danbury Police Department; her niece Ruth Tranberg of Trumbull; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Alfred Mattei. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be held privately. The Cornell Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements.
