Obituary of Cynthia Anne Stratton

Cynthia Anne Stratton January 08, 1969 - November 23, 2006 Cynthia Anne Stratton, 37, of West Haven, formerly of Brookfield, died at Yale New Haven Hospital on Thursday, November 23rd. She was born in Clinton, North Carolina on January 8, 1969, daughter of Leslie (Hardin) Bojarski and the late Fred Stratton. She was a graduate of Naugatuck High School, Class of 1987. Cynthia made her home in the Valley Area most of her life. She loved to sing and was a talented keyboard player and flutist. She was a very loving person who enjoyed making others smile with her great sense of humor. In addition to her mother, Leslie, she is survived by her stepfather, Victor Bojarski of Ennice, North Carolina; her four children, Amanda and Stephanie Piech of Torrington, Katie and Jody Santos of Bethel; her brothers, Fred Stratton of the United States Navy, stationed in Japan, and David Stratton of Milford, Ohio; her two sisters, Nicole Stratton of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Mary Stratton of Ansonia; her maternal grandparents, Joe and Anne Hardin of Brookfield; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her companion and fiance, Christopher Blasczyk. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Friday, December 1st at 12:00pm. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery, New Fairfield, will follow. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday morning between the hours of 11:00am and 12:00pm.
