William C. Bishop August 08, 1930 - May 30, 2006 William C. Bishop, 75, of Kenosia Avenue, Danbury, died at his home on Tuesday, May 30th. He was born in Danbury on August 8, 1930, son of the late William Bishop, Sr. and the late Hazel (Williams) Kayser. Mr. Bishop worked as a machinist at Bard Parker for several years and also the Market Basket. He enjoyed fishing. Since his retirement he has worked as a maintenance worker at Kenosia Avenue Commons. Mr. Bishop is survived by his daughter, Gloria Morris and her husband Wayne of Bethel; his son, William Bishop and his wife, Donna of MA.; his companion, Fran Cole, his brothers, Edward Bishop of Danbury, Ralph Bishop of Danbury, Terry Kayser and his wife, Dawn of New Milford, Ronald Kayser and his wife, Rita of Danbury, Gary Kayser and his wife, Joyce; his sisters, Gloria Tilford of Georgia, Eleanor Csire and her husband Bill of Stratford, Kay Kayser of Bantam, and Shelley Nadeau of Danbury. He also leaves several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Carl R. Bishop. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Friday, June 2nd at 7:00pm. Cremation will take place at the direction of the family. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00pm. Donations Information In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of one's choice or to the Danbury Hospital Development Fund, Praxair Cancer Center at Danbury Hospital.
