Obituary of Carl E. Peachman

Carl E. Peachman September 29, 1924 - March 10, 2007 Carl E. Peachman, 82, of Elizabeth Circle, Sandy Hook, beloved husband of Doris F. (Pascaretti) Peachman, died in the presence of his loving family at Danbury Hospital on Saturday, March 10th. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 29, 1924, son of the late Edward and Ida (Kleiss) Peachman. Mr. Peachman was a Veteran of World War II, serving with the United States Army. He served in Ardennes, Central Europe, Northern France, and Rhineland. He was a recipient of the European African Middle Eastern Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal. A loving and devoted husband, Carl and Doris celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on October 6, 2006. In addition to his cherished wife, Doris, he is survived by his daughter, Diane Peachman of Queens, NY; his son, Kenneth Peachman and his wife, Kathleen of Danbury; his five grandchildren, Jessica, Aileen, Kathryn, Melissa and Kevin Peachman. He is also survived by his sister, Lorna Bruce of Texas; his Uncle Albert Kleiss of Bethel; his Aunt Lillian Sommers of Norwalk; his dear cousins, Melinda and Debbie; as well as several beloved extended family members. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Brookfield on Tuesday, March 13th at 11:00am. Cremation and interment will take place at the direction of the family. The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Monday, March 12th between the hours of 2:00 - 4:00pm and 7:00 - 9:00pm.
