Obituary of Linda Ann Maxwell

Linda Ann Maxwell April 06, 1940 - June 13, 2008 Linda Ann (Reynolds) Maxwell, age 68, of Whisconier Road, Brookfield, died at Danbury Hospital on Friday, June 13th. She was born in Norwalk on April 6, 1940, daughter of the late Ralph W. and Mae (Kane) Reynolds. She was a graduate of Danbury High School, Class of 1958 and was inducted into the National Honor Society of Psychology in December 1981. A graduate of Western Connecticut State University, she completed a Bachelor of Science in 1983 and a Master of Science in 1988. Mrs. Maxwell retired from the Department of Children and Family Services as a Social Work Supervisor, after 20 years of employment. She was an active member of the Brookfield Senior Center, the Brookfield Garden Club, and volunteered for the Hand in Hand program at Huckleberry Hill School. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Brookfield. She enjoyed, traveling, the beach and loved gardening. She will be sadly missed by her son, Kim Willis and his wife, Kim of Brookfield; her three daughters, Laure Lisk and her husband Ray of Louisville, CO, Dawn Perodeau and her husband, Glenn of Southbury, and April Willis of Bridgeport; her special grandson, who was like a son to her, Shaun Monastero and his fiancé, Sarah-Jean Tillbrook. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tina and Kathryn Lisk, Caitlyn, Ryan, and Austin Perodeau, Tyler and Kyle Willis; her sister, Rosemary Fink of Tucson, AZ; as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 18th at 11:00am at St. Joseph Church, Brookfield. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Tuesday, June 17th between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00pm.
