Obituary of Margaret Mariano

Margaret Mariano July 16, 1925 - April 21, 2006 Margaret (Senecka) Mariano, 80, of Park Lawn Drive, Bethel, formerly of Kendall Terrace, East, Danbury, devoted wife of Angelo Mariano, passed away peacefully at Danbury Hospital on Friday, April 21st. She was born in Bridgeport on July 16, 1925, daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Crekuz) Senecka. Mrs. Mariano made her home in Danbury in 1951. She was a devoted homemaker who maintained the family home for her husband and children. She was a lifetime member of the First Assembly of God Church and was very active in all aspects of her church life. Most importantly, she was a faithful Christian, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 56 years, Angelo; her son, Frank J. Mariano and his wife, Annie of Bridgewater; her daughter, Donna M. Montesi and her husband Bill of Danbury; her daughter-in-law, Nancy Silvestri and her husband Jack of Danbury; and her five grandchildren, Angelo Mariano and his wife, Kelly, Carina Mariano, Meghan Mariano, Melissa and Christine Montesi. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Michael A. Mariano. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 24th at 11:00am. at the First Assembly of God in Brookfield. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery, Danbury. The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury on Sunday, April 23rd between the hours of 4:00 and 7:00pm.
