Obituary of Sook Ja Toshiko Kim

Sook Ja Toshiko Kim February 13, 2011 Sook Ja Kim, "Toshiko," of Danbury, beloved wife of Viorel Ontalus, died unexpectedly while vacationing in St. Lucia. She was born in Korea. Sook was multicultural and multi-educated. She earned various degrees across the world in top Universities. She received her MBA in management and marketing from Sacred Heart University in 2005, where she was a top student and member of the Delta Mu Delta Honor Society. She also received a MA in Psychology from Lehigh University and a MA in Special Education from Tsukuba University in Japan. While she worked in Japan, she was recognized and honored by the Japanese Ministry for her teaching. Sook was a kind and compassionate person who enjoyed volunteering as a counselor for young people with psychological problems. She was a humble and modest person who always had a positive attitude, even during challenging times. Sook was an active person, she traveled the world and enjoyed the beauties of nature. She did manage small business and loved to work in marketing. She was planning to start her own business in the fashion industry. She will be sadly missed by her cherished husband of 12 years, Viorel; as well as many family members in Korea and Japan. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Saturday, March 5th at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday between the hours of 10:00am and 11:00am.
