Kamlaben (Shah) Kantawala, 84, of Far Horizons Drive Brookfield, devoted wife of the late Jethalal Kantawala, died at Danbury Hospital on Monday, April 25th. She was born on July 16, 1921, in Umreth, India and has made her home in the United States for the past 9 years.
Mrs. Kantawala was a homemaker who lovingly maintained the family home. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her sons, Harivadan Kantawala and his wife, Devila of Bethel, Dinesh Kantawala and his wife, Varsha of Danbury; her seven grandchildren, Manish, Pooja, Shital, and Kajal Kantawala, Hema Downey, Meeta Kharawala, and Bina Parikh; her great grandchildren, Reshma Kharawala and Isha Parikh. She is also survived by her brother, Rajnikant Shah of India and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Deepak Kantawala. Funeral Information
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Thursday, April 28th between the hours of 10:00am and 12:00pm. Cremation will follow at Charter Oak Crematory, Oxford, Connecticut.
