Obituary of Rita M. Lendaro
Rita Marie Lendaro, 93, of Danbury, wife of the late Basil “Bill” Lendaro, died peacefully on October 17th at Danbury Hospital. She was born in Danbury, the daughter of the late James and Parmena Esposito. She was a graduate of Danbury High School, Class of 1948. Rita was a life long resident of Danbury and worked in customer service for various local companies. Rita loved visiting with friends and and her family. She will be sadly missed by her son, Jeffery Lendaro and his wife, Joanne; her son-in-law, Scott DeMuth; her grandchildren, Marcellina (Evan Batt), Joseph (Stephanie Case), Daniel (Erica Gillette), and Victor Lendaro; and her great grandchildren, Nina and Matteo Batt.
She was predeceased by her son, Alan Lendaro earlier this year.
Funeral services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Friday, October 27th at 11:00am. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday morning between 10:00 – 11:00am.
