Christine Jurik
July 09, 1921 - May 29, 2011
Christine Jurik, formerly of Myrtle Ave, Danbury, died at Hancock Hall on Sunday, May 29th. She was born in Danbury on July 9, 1921, daughter of the late John B. and Elizabeth Jurik. She was a lifelong member of the community and attended Danbury Schools.
Christine worked as a sewing machine operator for Grand Manufacturing Company in Danbury. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the United Lutheran Society.
She is survived by her cousin, Christine Matey of Danbury; as well as several cousins in Danbury and Slovakia.
She was predeceased by her longtime companion, Frank Patlonic; her sisters, Elizabeth and Anna Jurik; and her brother, Stephen who was killed during the Battle of the Bulge. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church on Tuesday, May 31st at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Church on Tuesday morning between 10:00 and 11:00am. Donations Information
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or the charity of one's choice.
