Dante E. Joseph Fiore, lovingly known as Joe, husband of Patricia Fiore, died at NYU in Manhattan on Thursday, August 26th, following a brief battle with cancer that he fought with the courage and dignity that only Joe could possess. He was born in Newark, NJ on November 24, 1956, son of Henry L. Fiore and the late Michelina T. Fiore.
Joe was employed by Connecticut Light and Power for the past 21 years as a Lead Cable Splicer. He was a hard worker and mentor who will be sorely missed by the Stamford Area Work Center. He was a loyal husband, father, son, brother and friend who touched so many lives as evidenced by the tremendous support of his family, co-workers and neighbors.
In addition to his father, Henry, and his wife of 24 years, Patricia, he will be sadly missed by his cherished children, Nicholas and Alexandra Fiore; his brother, Conrad ; his sister, Michelle Templon and her husband, Rod . He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family members who loved him dearly. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 31st at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church, Brookfield. Cremation will take place at the direction of the family.
The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Monday between the hours of 4:00 and 8:00pm. Donations Information
