Rosemary Duchesne, 91, of Danbury, wife of the late Richard Duchesne, died peacefully at Bethel Health Care Center on Sunday, May 29th. She was born in Danbury on December 4, 1919, daughter of the late Frank and Rose Setaro.
Rosemary worked as a secretary for her father's hat factory, Mohawk Hats in Danbury. She later worked as an assembler for Ullman Devices.
Most importantly, she was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed gardening, and was the ultimate bargain hunter.
She will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Susan Poirier and her husband, Paul of RI, and Carol Roche and her companion, Paul Sheasby of Danbury; her three grandchildren, Eric Roche and his wife, Sarah, Matthew Roche and his wife, Jennifer, Meggin Lundstrom and her husband, Christer; and her great grandchildren, Ben, Jack, Maddy, Harper, and Penely. She is also survived by her sister, Julie Halpin of Danbury; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first beloved husband, Howard W. Beach; her son, Robert Beach; and her grandson, A. Paul Urbano. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 3rd at 10:30am at St. Peter Church, Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Thursday between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00pm.
