Antoinette M. (Tangredi) Conlea, 92,the wife of the late John Clayton Conlea, died Sunday, June 5th at Pope John Paul Rehabilitation Center of Danbury. Antoinette was born August 5th, 1918 in Astoria Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late Vincent James and Ersilia (Rapolla) Tangredi.
Antoinette worked as a bank teller at Fairfield County Trust. She was a member of St. Edward the Confessor Church and the Senior Center in New Fairfield. She loved spending her winters in Palm Harbor, Florida and did so until 1995. Antoinette was a devoted catholic and in 1964 she took Ecomenical Council world wide trip with St. Joseph Parish of Danbury.
Antoinette is survived by her two sons, John A. Conlea and his wife Lenette of Southbury and Jerry P. Conlea of New Fairfield, two grandchildren, Michele Fisher and her husband Daniel and Sherylyn Dos Santos and her husband Mauricio, three great grandchildren, Maurisa, Zachary and Luke, three brothers, Frank Tangredi and his wife Tomasina of Newburgh, NY, Joseph Tangredi Sr. of Danbury and Vincent Tangredi and his wife Loretta of Danbury. Antoinette is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Antoinette is pre-deceased by her brother Anthony Tangredi of Bethel and her sisters-in-law, Anna and Regina Tangredi. Funeral Information
