Obituary of Sister Theresa Chaloux

Sister Theresa Chaloux July 31, 1927 - May 08, 2011 Sister Theresa Chaloux, CND Sister Theresa Chaloux, CND, died on May 8, 2011 at Lourdes Health Care Center in Wilton, CT. A professed sister for over 63 years in the Congregation de Notre Dame, Sister Theresa served in the field of education in Chicago, Kankakee, and Bourbonnais Illinois, in Lewiston, ME, New Haven, CT, St. Johnsbury and Brattleboro, VT, and Providence, RI. Sister served in Ridgefield from 1973-2004 and then retired to Andrus on Hudson Residence for the Elderly. Many were inspired by her spirit of love and generosity especially to the people of Ridgefield and the elderly CND sisters she served as nurse and energetic caregiver for over 30 years. Sr. Theresa was blessed with a loving family and is survived by her brothers Gerard Chaloux of St. Johnsbury and Bill Chaloux of Gilbert, AZ as well as her many nieces and nephews, and her CND sisters. Funeral Information The wake will be on Wednesday, May 11th from 3-8 at Villa Notre Dame, 345 Belden Hill Rd. in Wilton, CT. The Mass of Christian Burial is at 10 am Thursday, May 12th at Villa Notre Dame in Wilton.
