Charlotte Tomczuk 84 of Danbury died Sunday, March 7 at Danbury Hospital after a long battle with Asthma and heart-related illness. She was the wife of the late Alexander Tomczuk, a well-known and respected local contractor.
Born June 20th, 1925, Charlotte was the daughter of Anne and Daniel Schullery and resided in Danbury all of her life.
She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She was also employed during her adult years at Hartwell-Brady, a clothing store, as well as Charlop Jewelers and Addessi Jewelers.
Charlotte had a great love for reading, classical music and the Swing Era music of her youth.
Survivors include her sister Gertrude Lutrus of Bethel, Connecticut, her daughter, Jill Tomczuk-Dowdall of Granite Springs, New York and many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
Calling hours will be held at Cornell Memorial Funeral Home 247 white St on Tuesday, March 9th, from 5pm to 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, March 10th at 10am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery will directly follow the service. Donations Information
