Donald Frederick Miller, 78, of Danbury, died at Danbury Hospital on Thursday, May 20th. He was born in Danbury on April 1, 1932, son of the late Lester F., Sr. and Katherine (Hansson) Miller.
He was born and raised in Danbury, lived in Jackson Heights, Queens NYC for almost 40 years before returning to Danbury in 2004. He worked as an import manager for Woolworth Co in Manhattan for 40 years.
He was a Veteran of the Korean War, serving with the United States Army.
He was a very loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He will be sadly missed by his two brothers, Lester F. Miller, Jr. of Danbury and Richard Miller of Ohio; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, William Miller; his two sisters, Barbara Cher and Karen Moreno.
Burial will be held privately on Tuesday.
