Doris F. Melosh

Doris F. Melosh, age 82, of New Milford, wife of the late Edward Melosh, died peacefully at Candlewood Valley Health and Rehab, on Friday, May 21st. She was born in Rockville Centre, New York on October 29, 1927, daughter of the late Jerome and Ruth (Feist) Eschwege.
Mrs. Melosh worked for many years at Strykers in Bethel, and later in customer service for Grolier, retiring at age 63. Upon retirement, she enjoyed volunteering at the Gift Shop in New Milford Hospital. She was also a member of AARP #3241 in New Milford and attended the Senior Center.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Nancy J. Miller and her husband, John, with whom she made her home; her granddaughters, Kristy Miller-Spaulding and her husband, Richard of Thomaston, and Stacey A. Miller of Danbury; her brother, Arnold Eschwege and his wife, Rhoda. She is also survived by her cousin, Lee Feist and his wife, Addie, her three nieces; and her dear friends, Noreen Soltes, Charlene McNiff, and Ruth Gottlieb; as well as many other friends.
In addition to her second husband, Edward, she was predeceased by her first husband, Seymour Jarmofsky; and her sister, Leone Wildhagen. Funeral Information
Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, May 25th at Cedar Park Cemetery, Westwood, New Jersey. Rabbi David Fass of Temple Beth Shalom will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Monday between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00pm. Donations Information
