Gervais Lamontagne, formerly of Danbury, beloved husband of Pierrette (Cloutier) Lamontagne, died on Monday, June 21st at Middlesex Hospital, at the age of 55, following a courageous battle with MSA. He was born in St. Zacharie, Quebec on October 7, 1954, son of the late Rosaire and Marie Jeanne (Jacques) Lamontagne.
A man of faith, Gervais was an active member of the Colonial Hills Baptist Church in Danbury. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a master carpenter. Anyone who knew him knew what a heart of gold he had, building and serving; and what a great deal of strength and character he possessed. We rejoice in the assurance that we will meet again some day forever in Heaven. I Thessalonians 4:13-18.
In addition to his wife, Pierrette, he will be sadly missed by his son, Kevin Lamontagne and his wife, Kristina; his daughters, Melanie Coolbeth and her husband, Daniel and Kimberly Ericson and her husband, Timothy; his four grandchildren, Bjorn and Katelyn Ericson, Noah and Emily Coolbeth.
