I’m sad to learn of Bobs passing. Although I didn’t know him well, he was so kind to our family during very difficult times. He presided at the funeral masses of my brother Kurt and mother Vivian and that meant a great deal to our family. My sincere sympathies to the entire Blankschen family. May perpetual light shine upon him. Dawn Glintenkamp-Calabrese

Q: What will you never forget about Robert?
A: I will always remember Deacon Bob's reading of the various Gospels during our HOLY LAND trip to Israel, Jordan and Egypt. He read with feeling and it gave a special meaning to all the listeners. Didn’t know Robert well but admired him from afar. His devotion to St Gregory Church and his faith was very evident. He had a very determined walk, slow, steady and straight and tall as if to say slow and steady will get you there! RIP Robert.
