Obituary of Frances A. Lavieri
Frances Lavieri of Danbury, CT passed away peacefully on Thursday April 6, 2023 She was born March 8, 1938 in Winsted, CT, daughter of the late Carmine Lavieri and Margaret (Nataro) Harris. She graduated from the Gilbert School in 1956 and was a proud graduate of St. Vincent’s College of Nursing, class of 1959. She worked for many years as a registered nurse at Fairfield Hills Hospital.
Frances is survived by her children, David Moran and his wife Kimberly of Danbury, CT and Susan Jolian of Nahant, MA and her grandchildren, Michael Moran and Jennifer Moran.
Always quick to welcome friends and family with a cup of coffee and homemade sweets, she enjoyed spending time playing cards, quilting, and spoiling her family. She spent endless hours in the kitchen making food for friends and family, always happy to try new recipes. She had a keen sense of humor and was forever young at heart, always ready to laugh and keep others entertained. She had a big heart and was always willing to quickly turn strangers into new friends.
It has been said that love is not measured by how much we love others, but by how our love is returned to us. Since her passing, several friends have reached out to the family to express how much Frances has meant to them and how much she will be missed. She would have greatly appreciated knowing her friends and family are all being supported during this difficult time.
In keeping with her wishes, a celebration of life mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, 8 Robinson Ave, Danbury, CT, on Friday, April 14th at 10am.
