Mary Jane Copp, 71, beloved wife of Thomas Copp, passed away peacefully in the early hours of

Catskill, NY to the late Curtis and Katherine Plank. In addition to her parents, Mary Jane was

Mary Jane was a wonderful and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who was funny, goofy,
and absolutely loved life. Mary Jane loved to laugh and encouraged others to laugh along with her.
She lived life to the fullest, never letting negativity get her down. Besides her love for being around
family and friends and her cherished dog Abby, you could find her outside tending to her many
gardens. She also traveled extensively, both internationally and domestically. Two of her favorite
places to visit were Virginia Beach in the summer and the Florida Keys in the winter..

Mary Jane will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband, Tom of Brookfield; son
Timothy Copp and his wife, Alicia of New Milford; grandson Benjamin Copp of New Milford; nephew
David Straub of PA; and her dog Abby.

A celebration of Mary Jane’s life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to
the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org
