Sr. Marilyn Doucette, CND entered into eternal life on November 16, 2022 at the age of 83 at Ludlowe Center for Health & Rehabilitation in Fairfield, CT.
Sr. Marilyn was born in Waterbury, CT on February 25, 1939 to Oscar Joseph Doucette & Mary C. Crean, both of Waterbury, CT
Sr. Marilyn was educated in Waterbury at S.S. Peter & Paul Elementary School & Waterbury Catholic High School. Sr. Marilyn earned a BA degree from Notre Dame College of Staten Island, NY and Masters from Union College in Schenectady, NY and the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN.
Sr. Marilyn’s ministry included the fields of education/financial administration & pastoral care in CT, IL, RI, VT, FL, NY and Montreal, Canada. From 2007 to 2013 she served as Co-coordinator of Associate Relationship at the CND mother house in Montreal, Canada. Beginning in 2014, Sr. Marilyn served in St. Louis Parish and VA Hospital in West Haven.
More recently Sr. Marilyn resided at Holy Cross Convent in Waterbury.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart University Chapel in Fairfield, CT at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 19th. Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Danbury, CT
