Obituary of Linda Charlotte Poulin

Linda Charlotte Poulin passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Danbury Hospital.  Born in the Bronx, NY on August 5th, 1943, she was 78. Linda was married to her husband Claude for 55 years. She is survived by him, as well as her three children: Jeffrey Poulin of Naugatuck, Joseph Poulin of Cape Coral, FL, Jennifer Graham and her husband Lawrence of Oxford, along with her sister Judithann Bergmann of Waterbury.

Linda was her happiest around children and animals. She spent many hours tending to the gardens in her yard, feeding the birds, growing beautiful flowers, cooking and baking.

She loved classical music and sat on the board of directors of the Danbury Music Centre for 35 years. Linda could be counted on for a smile when handing you a program at the door of a Music Centre performance, and was frequently seen straightening a bow tie or offering an encouraging word to a performer as they headed on stage.  She helped raise thousands of dollars in donations for the organization that introduced music to her children and provided joy to her through her life.

Linda's friendship was treasured by her longtime neighbors, who will miss seeing her working in the yard, picking up their mail when away, sharing gardening tips and chatting in the driveway on warm afternoons.

In lieu of flowers, please honor Linda as she would have loved, by donating to the Danbury Music Centre in her name, so that the music she enjoyed so much can play on.
