Obituary of Virginia Mae Fenton

Virginia M. Fenton, 91, of Danbury,  cherisehd wife of the late Richard Fenton, Sr., died on Monday,February 11th at Danbury Hospital. (Do not delete this line. It does not print.  Text that is to appear on web must be entered after this line)«

Virginia was born in Danbury on May 13, 1929, daughter of the late Harry Brennan Sr. and Anita (Carboni) Steinfeld.  She was a graduate of Danbury High School and longtime parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Church.  She retired from Danbury Internal Medicine where she worked for 25 years as a receptionist.

“Ducky” as she was lovingly known to her family and friends, was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  Her faith, her family, and her home were the most important things in her life.  She cared for all she loved, and had a long prayer list of intentions for others that were remembered during her daily Rosary.  One of her most important possessions was her well worn Bible.

Ducky may have been small in stature, but her strength was mighty!

Virginia will be sadly missed by children, Richard “Ricky” Fenton, Jr., and Cindy Chiarella; her two grandchildren Tyler and Nicholas; and her sister, Lorraine “Midge” Short.

She was predeceased by her brother Harry Brennan Jr. and her son-in-law

Kevin Chiarella.
