Obituary of Elizabeth Krizan

Elizabeth Krizan, 95, of Brookfield, died peacefully at The Village at Brookfield Commons, on November 23, 2020.  She was born in Danbury on June 28, 1925, daughter of the late John and Anna (Simek) Krizan.  She was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Danbury. 

Betty, as she was lovingly known, enjoyed taking trips around the country with her friends, playing with her bowling league, and Slovak cooking.  Her most favorite pastime was going to the Casino.  She was also very lucky with scratch off tickets. 

She will be sadly missed by her siblings, Paula Scozzafava and her husband John, Daniel Krizan, and Emil Krizan; her sister-in-law, Marie Krizan; and many nieces and nephews. 

Betty was predeceased by her siblings, Anna, John, Paul, Martin, Steve, Susan, Christine, George and Samuel. 

Funeral Services and interment in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery will take place in the spring.
