Obituary of John Crockett Jr.

John G. Crockett, Jr., age 50 of Brookfield, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 4, 2020. Fondly known as Jay, he was born in Hartford, CT. on June 4, 1970 and lovingly raised by his mother, Susan Crockett and the late, John G. Crockett, Sr.

Jay’s life was surrounded in his incredible art.  He graduated from Paier College of Art with a Bachelor’s in Illustration and owned his own business, Reverence Tattoo in Monroe.  Jay was a phenomenal artist winning many awards for his talent, including several from the Society of Illustrators in New York City.  Jay also enjoyed playing ice hockey, friends, and his family.

Jay will sadly be missed by his parents Susan Crockett and her husband, Dan Milone of Brookfield; his step-sisters: Jennifer and Christine; his aunt Kathryn Reinehr; as well as cousins. 

Friends may visit by invitation only on Wednesday October 14, 2020 at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church in Brookfield (138 Candlewood Lake Rd.) from 10:00am until the time of Mass at 11:00am.  Burial will follow in St Peter Cemetery, Danbury, in the family plot.

All are required to wear a mask and practice safe social distancing per restrictions.
