Obituary of Richard Thomas Durkin

Richard T. Durkin, born January 17, 1960, passed away on June 7, 2020 at the age of 60. Richard was a lifetime resident of Danbury, CT and graduated from Danbury High School in 1978. He attended culinary school and was a chef and baker at several restaurants.

Richard is preceded in death by his father, Thomas R. Durkin, and passed away just before his mother, Barbara L. Durkin, of Bethel, CT. He is survived by his sister, Cindy Sfaelos and brother-in-law, Danny, his nephew, Andrew, and niece, Ashley of Danbury. He is also survived by his brother, Michael, and sister-in-law, Marianne, his nephews, Max and Michael, and niece Hope, also of Danbury. Richard is also survived by his ½ sister Racheal Durkin and ½ brother Thomas Durkin.

Richard was cremated and will be buried with his mother Barbara in Center Cemetery on South Street, Bethel (Located just past Agway)  on August 15, 2020 at 12:00. There will be a graveside service.
