Obituary of Andrea Grace Abruzzo
Andrea Grace Abruzzo, 48, of Brookfield, died on Sunday, October 7, 2018, at Smilow Cancer Hospital, after a courageous five year battle with lymphoma. She was born in New Hyde Park, NY on February 23, 1970, beloved daughter of Thomas and Pauline Grace (Barodin) Abruzzo.
Andrea worked for the Yankee Penny Saver as a sales representative in Brookfield. She was a talented artist who loved to draw and paint. She shared her abilities with her cherished daughter, Avery.
She loved the outdoors and had a great appreciation for the beauty in nature. She enjoyed playing tennis, and traveling to South Carolina to visit her parents.
Most importantly, she was a loving mother who devoted herself to her daughter.
In addition to her parents, Tom and Pauline, and her daughter, Avery Iraci, she will be sadly missed by her husband, Ray Iraci; her brothers, Vincent, Greg, and John and his wife, Christine; her nephews, Thomas, Anthony, Robert, Nicholas and Joseph; and her niece, Ava.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 10th at 12:30pm at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church in Brookfield. The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield on Wednesday morning between the hours of 10:30 - 11:30am.
